This rotary platen attachment from Beaumont Metal Works is a dream.  The slight convex will improve my kitchen knives. It runs super smooth I don’t have the chatter I had with my flat platen and the finishes I am seeing are great.  This was a fantastic investment.

US-Made Tooling

I’ve always loved how your stuff is built HEAVY. The mass is nice for stability but more important it holds up not only to what it SHOULD be expected to do but also those infrequent and unexpected ‘oh crap’ moments when things don’t go as planned and something in the shop falls over or you move or what not. Strong, robust, US made tooling is never wrong.
